Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development and implementation of the IDP(Integrated Development Plan) and PM (Performance Management)
• Ensure that the IDP, Service Delivery Integrated Development Plan (SDBIP), and the budget, are well aligned.
• Ensure all legislations and policies relevant to IDP and SDBIP are complied with.
• International affairs
• Intergovernmental affairs
• Stakeholder management
• Communications and public relations (public participation, awareness, marketing and branding)
• Provide Strategic Support to the office of the MM and the Mayco Members
• Co-ordinate the activities of the EMT and OMT
• Administrative Support to the office of the Executive Mayor
• Coordinate meetings between the Municipal Manager and Executive Mayor
• Administrative support to the office of the Speaker and Mayrol Committee members
