Duties & Responsibilities Manage Tourism within the Langeberg Municipal area Manage Rural Development within the Langeberg Municipal area Manage and facilitate Land Reform within the Langeberg Municipal area Manage Special Projects within the Langeberg Municipal area    Quarterly report on progress and initiatives of rural development activities  Facilitates the land reform process between the Department and the beneficiaries. Facilitates representation at the Tourism Indaba (Durban) Receive applications and evaluate to recommend financial and in-kind support to community festivals.

• The department plays a crucial role in the economic development and development of the Langeberg Municipality by contributing to the development of Tourism, rural development and special projects.
