The National Empowerment Fund's (NEF) Investor Education national campaign will take place in the Western Cape Province from the 25 – 29 March 2019.
The campaign in the Western Cape is part of a national roadshow that will reach 36 destinations countrywide for the purpose of taking Investor Education to the people.
On 25 March 2019 NEF will hold a seminar from 11h00 - 14h00 at the Nkqubela Community Hall, Robertson.
This campaign will enable the NEF to bring more and more Black South Africans into the economic mainstream by:
- Bridging the gap between the first and second economies;
- Seeking to educate Black South Africans on how the equity markets work and to expose them to the various investment classes; and
- Encouraging Black South Africans to move away from traditional methods of savings and investments as they are not as lucrative as options in the formal market.
The campaign seminars will target a minimum of 300 participants per town, targeting Entrepreneurs, Youth, Stokvel's, the elderly and unemployed citizens.
