The draft Integrated Waste Management By-law for the Langeberg Municipality is available for perusal on the Municipal web site, and Municipal offices and libraries.

Comments must be submitted on or before 20 August 2021.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NOTICE: THE REVIEW AND UPDATE OF THE LANGEBERG LOCAL MUNICIPALITY (WLM) INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN (IWMP) FOR THE WLM IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT: WASTE ACT, 2008 (ACT NO. 59 OF 2008)

Notice is hereby given in terms of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act (Act No. 59 of 2008) that the Langeberg Local Municipality (WLM) is reviewing the Integrated Waste Management Plan (IWMP).

As part of the Public Participation process, the public is afforded a 30-day period from 1 April 2021 to 1 May 2021 to comment on the draft IWMP. The draft IWMP will be available on the LLM website from 1 April.
