Cape Winelands District Municipality (CWDM) together with the Local Economic Development Department of Langeberg Municipality held an event for handing over of certificates on 21 May at Callie De Wet Hall in Robertson. The certificates were a result of a collaboration of CWDM who provided funding, Langeberg Municipality and Stellenbosch Entrepreneur & Enterprise Development (S.E.E.D).
S.E.E.D was appointed as a service provider to offer courses as part of the Seed Fund Programme to participants from the Langeberg area who are entrepreneurs. The participants completed three courses, Financial Management, Marketing and Business Plan. The skills they acquired in this programme will assist them on their day to day running of their businesses. This initiative ensures that small businesses in the area prosper and contribute to the local economy.
