Small Enterprise Development Agency, Langeberg Local Municipality and Government Communication and Information System celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Month

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda), Langeberg Local Municipality and Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) will celebrate the Global Entrepreneurship Month on Monday, 27 November 2017 in Robertson under the theme: “Entrepreneurs first and prosperity for all!”.

 

November is the Global Entrepreneurship Month, every year, November is dedicated to inspire millions of people from more than 160 countries through local, national and global activities designed to help them unleash their potential as Entrepreneurs and innovators. As part of these activities, Seda with its stakeholders embark on a massive drive to teach communities about the importance of Entrepreneurship, and showcasing successful entrepreneurial motivators. Seda has a partnership with Langeberg Local Municipality to capacitate the local entrepreneurs in Ashton, Bonnievale, McGregor, Montagu and Robertson with business development services.

 

Entrepreneurs are the life blood of the local economy. Our partnership with the Langeberg Local Municipality will go a long way to create a new generation of Entrepreneurs who will create a vibrant and self-reliant local economy, that will attract potential investors and create much needed job opportunities” said Alex T Qunta, Seda Western Cape Provincial Manager.

 

Invited government agencies and other SMME players in the private sector will make inputs to the event on their interventions and services that they can offer to the local Entrepreneurs.

Petronella van Wyk, who is running a successful a recycling business in Worcester will be a guest speaker. Petronella is the owner of Beirowplas Recycling.
