Tender documents can be downloaded from  www.langeberg.gov.za or collected on request from Mrs A Mouries between 08h00 – 16h30 as from 19 October 2020 at Langeberg Municipal Offices, 23 Faure Street, Ashton.

A non-refundable fee of R 250 is payable to Langeberg Municipality for collection of documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on Friday, 23 October 2020 at 10:00 in the Langeberg Municipal Offices, Piet Retief Street, Montagu after which the sites will be visited. Bidders that fail to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be disqualified. A representative may only represent one tenderer at this meeting.

Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation provided by the municipality and must remain valid for 120 days after bid closing. It is estimated that tenderers will need a CIDB grading designation of 4ME.

“Only goods, works and services with the minimum threshold as applicable to local production and content will be considered.”

Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mailed or late tenders will not be accepted.  The lowest, only or any bid shall not necessarily be accepted and the Council reserves the right to accept any part of the bid.

Langeberg Municipality request bidders to supply a bid for the UPGRADING AND REHABILITATION OF WATER NETWORKS; ASHTON, BONNIEVALE, ROBERTSON AND MONTAGU

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held on FRIDAY 27 November 2020 at 10:00 in the Langeberg Municipal Offices, 52 Church Street, Robertson after which the sites will be visited. Bidders that fail to attend the compulsory clarification meeting will be disqualified. A representative may only represent one tenderer at this meeting.

Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation provided by the municipality and must remain valid for 90 days after bid closing. It is estimated that tenderers will need a CIDB grading designation of 4CE.

Tenders are hereby invited for the Provision of the Cash-In-Transit (CIT) services for Langeberg Municipality from 01 January 2021 until 30 June 2024 as specified in the bid document. Completed Bids, in sealed envelopes, clearly marked TENDER 50/2020: PROVISION OF THE CASH-IN-TRANSIT SERVICE FOR LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY FROM 01 JANUARY 2021 UNTIL 30 JUNE 2024 should be placed in the tender box, at the Langeberg Municipal Office, 28 Main Road, Ashton, not later than 12:00 on 13 NOVEMBER 2020 when the bids will be  opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.

Tenderers must be registered and be in good standing with the Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) and have the required competency certificates to render Cash-In-Transit (CIT) services

Supporting document must be submitted separately and must be stapled or bound.

Only goods and services applicable to local production and content will be considered

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and council reserves the right to accept any tender. Tenders will be evaluated according to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the 80/20-point system will apply.
