The Community Facilities Department, residing under Community Services Directorate maintain and manage 8 Sport fields within the five towns of the Municipality. We are responsible to manage and maintain these facilities within the available budget. We also manage client services, access control, handle the reservations and ensure the execution of the Council’s Policy on facilities.

The following facilities is available for public functions or private hire by the general public.

• Bookings to hire a Sports Facaility should be done well in advance and payment for securing facilities should be done the preceding Wednesday prior to the function before 12h00. 

  Charges may vary according to the category under which the Community facility fall under as approved by Langeberg Municipal Council.

  Please note that Langeberg Municipality reserves the right to cancel any booking.
  
  The booking and operating hours of these facilities are from Monday to Thursday 07:45 - 16:30 ; Friday 07:45 - 15:15.

• All events in the Langeberg Municipal area has to go through an application and approval process to ensure the event is safe for the public and comply to the municipality's Events By-law. Event applications must be submitted at least two months before the actual event date.
