Parks and Nature reserves
The Langeberg region offers a number of hiking trails for outdoor enthusiast, that showcase an array of flora and fauna species throughout our stunning mountainous areas.
With the aim to protect and conserve these biodiversity heritage sites for our and future generations' enjoyment the following rules apply when entering these reserves. No person may be in possession of any flora, fauna, weapon, trap, explosive or poison and may not damage or deface any natural object or property. No person my destroy or remove flora, fauna, nests or objects of historical nature, scientific interest or that will prevent the development of the reserve. No person my damage or climb over or through fences within or bounding the reserve. No fires are permitted. No amplification of sound is allowed. Discard refuse outside the reserve or at the provided refuse containers.
The Langeberg Municipality manage the following scenic hiking trails and recreation picnic areas.
OPERATING HOURS:
Hiking Trails are open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 07H45 to 16H30, Wednesdays to Friday's from 07H45 to 17H30, Saturdays and Sundays from 09H00 to 17H30.
