Notice is hereby given of the joint public participation process in terms of the National Environmental Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) (NEMA), as amended and the National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998) (NWA).

The landowner and Applicant (Imdawo-Ekuhle (Pty) Ltd) is proposing expansion of cultivation areas, enlargement of one of the existing farm dams and expansion of a pipeline on Farm Vergelegen (RE/767), in order to increase the economic viability of the farm. Please refer to the attached notification in this regard.

The Draft Scoping Report and supporting documentation is available for a 30-day public review and comment period from 18 November 2021 to 11 January 2022.  The documentation can be reviewed at the Robertson Public Library (30 Van Reenen Street, Robertson, 6705, Tel.: 023 626 8205), in an electronic format by accessing the following Google Drive link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/19EoonRV1iPNvkznnQtoqO4AEZmspYgBm?usp=sharing or can be requested in an electronic format (CD) from the contact details provided.
