Tenders are hereby requested for the MAINTENANCE WORK AT THE ROBERTSON WATER TREATMENT WORKS, as specified in the bid document. Completed Bids, in sealed envelopes, clearly marked “MAINTENANCE WORK AT THE ROBERTSON WATER TREATMENT WORKS” should be placed in the tender box, at the Langeberg Municipal Office, 28 Main Road, Ashton, not later than 12:00 on 27 MAY 2022 when the Bids will be opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.
A COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE 13 MAY 2022 AT THE ROBERTSON WATER TREATMENT WORKS AT 14:00, RICHTER ST, 33˚ 47’33”S, 19˚ 53’ 44”E.
Bids may only be submitted on the bid documentation provided by the municipality and must remain valid for 120 days after bid closing. It is estimated that tenderers will need a CIDB grading designation of 2ME.
PLEASE NOTE:
The official Bid document must be fully completed in black ink, all pages must be submitted and preferably should be bound.
Supporting documents must be submitted separately and must be stapled or bound.
Only goods and services applicable to local production and content will be considered.
The lowest, or any tender, will not necessarily be accepted and council reserves the right to accept any tender. Tenders will be evaluated according to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the 80/20 Preference Point system.
