Cancellation Tender 22-2023:The amendments to the Preferential procurement regulations have an impact on the alienation of municipal property and therefore the process has to be re initiated in line with new regulations

Interested persons are herewith invited to tender for available Municipal erven as contained in the tender document.

Tenders in sealed envelopes clearly markedTender 22/2023 - Alienation of various available erven” must be placed in the tender box at the Municipal Offices, 28 Main Road, Ashton before 12:00 on Friday, 08 September 2023 where after tenders will be opened in public.

Late tenders or tenders received by fax or incomplete tenders will not be accepted. Proof of dispatch of a tender will not be regarded as proof of receipt there of. The Municipality is not obliged to accept the highest or any tender.

Tenders must be submitted on the original document which can be obtained from the reception of the various Municipal Offices and Municipal Website www.langeberg.gov.za . Tenders are hereby requested for the DEVELOPMENT OF SILO CEMETERY as specified in the bid document.

Completed Bids, in sealed envelopes, clearly marked “TENDER 31/2023: DEVELOPMENT OF ASHTON SILO CEMETERY” should be placed in the tender box, at the Langeberg Municipal Office, 28 Main Road, Ashton, not later than 12:00 on 18 AUGUST 2023 when the Bids will be opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.

Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004.  It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of CIDB – of CE1 OR HIGHER.

A COMPULSORY CLARIFICAITON MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE 08 AUGUST 2023 AT - 10H00, AT THE ROBERTSON MUNICIPAL OFFICES, TOWN HALL, 52 CHURCH STREET, ROBERTSON.

PLEASE NOTE:

The official Bid document must be fully completed in black ink, all pages must be submitted and the document should preferably be bound.

Supporting documents must be submitted separately and must be stapled or bound.

The lowest, or any tender, will not necessarily be accepted and council reserves the right to accept any tender.
