Tenders are hereby requested for the WATER PIPE REPLACEMENT, ROBERTSON, as specified in the bid document. Completed Bids, in sealed envelopes, clearly marked TENDER 43/2023 WATER PIPE REPLACEMENT, ROBERTSON, should be placed in the tender box, at the Langeberg Municipal Office, 28 Main Road, Ashton, not later than 12:00 on 26 January 2024 when the Bids will be opened in public. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.
Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation of 3CE OR HIGHER.

COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING:
A COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE 15 JANUARY 2024 AT - 10H00, AT THE ROBERTSON MUNICIPAL OFFICES, TOWN HALL, 52 CHURCH STREET, ROBERTSON. NO LATE COMERS WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER 10H05.

PLEASE NOTE:
The official Bid document must be fully completed in black ink, all pages must be returned, and the document should preferably be stapled or bound. Supporting documents must be submitted separately and must be stapled or bound.
The lowest, or any tender, will not necessarily be accepted and council reserves the right to accept any tender. Tenders will be evaluated according to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the 80/20 Preference Point system. The Supply Chain Management Policy can be viewed at Municipal Offices or www.langeberg.gov.za
A minimum functional assessment score of 70 points will apply to this contract.

pdf NOTICE ERRATUM: TENDER 50/2023: SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF GENERATORS FOR THE LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY

Langeberg Municipality wishes to inform all prospective bidders of the changes of the below mentioned extension of bid advertisement which was advertised in the Langeberg Municipality website on the 17 November 2023.

Notice is hereby given that the CIDB grading requirement was erroneously omitted from the original tender advertisement and document.

Tenderers must be registered with the CIDB in a class of construction works and have a grading designation equal to or higher than that determined in accordance with the sum tendered or a value determined in accordance with regulation 25 (7A) of the Construction Industry Development Regulations, 2004. It is estimated that tenderers will need a grading designation EP2 OR HIGHER.

A second compulsory clarification meeting will be held on 13 December 2023 at 11h00, at 52 Church, in Robertson Municipal Offices, Council Chamber.

Only service providers who attended the compulsory clarification meeting held on 28 November 2023 will be exempted from attending the second clarification meeting.
