ELECTRICITY DOWNTIME IMPACT PRE-PAID ELECTRICITY PURCHASES AND WATER SUPPLY

Electricity is currently down in Ashton and Zolani for an unknown period, due to cable theft.

- Residents of Ashton must use water extremely sparingly as reservoirs are unable to pump water during electricity downtime and water levels are running very low. This will impact water pressure and water quality.

- All Langeberg Municipal offices will now be unable to sell pre-paid electricity until the  electrical cables have been restored. Pre-paid electricity is however available from outside vendors at: https://www.langeberg.gov.za/langeberg-residents/electricity
