Tenders are hereby invited for Tender No. 31/2026: THE UPGRADING OF ZOLANI SPORTSGROUNDS HIGH MAST LIGHTING IN BUILDING AVENUE, ZOLANI, LANGEBERG MUNICIPALITY.

Sealed tenders, with “Tender No. 31/2026: THE UPGRADING OF ZOLANI SPORTSGROUNDS HIGH MAST LIGHTING” clearly endorsed on the envelope, must be deposited in the Tender Box at the entrance of the Municipal Offices, 28 Main Road, Ashton, Langeberg Municipality, 6715.

The closing date and time is 04 September 2026 at 12h00, and tenders will be opened in public as soon as possible thereafter. Late, faxed or e-mailed tenders will not be considered.

A COMPULSORY CLARIFICATION MEETING will be held on 18 August 2026 at 10h00 at Rolihlahla Hall, Building Street, Zolani, Ashton (33°50'13.92"S; 20°5'12.88"E). No latecomers will be admitted after 10h05.

Tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3EP or higher. Potentially Emerging (PE) enterprises with a grading of 2EP PE may also be considered at the Municipality’s discretion.

Tenders will be evaluated according to the Council’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the 80/20 Preference Point System. A minimum functional assessment score of 70 points will apply to this contract. The Langeberg Municipality does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

Tenders are subject to the Standard Conditions of Tender as contained in Annex F of Board Notice 136 of 2015 in Government Gazette 38960 of 10 July 2015, CIDB Standard for Uniformity in Construction Procurement, the Preferential Procurement Regulations (BBBEE) and the Supply Chain Management Policy of Langeberg Municipality.
