eNaTIS LEARNER LICENSE TESTS NOW COMPUTERISED
The Ashton, Bonnievale and Robertson Driving License Testing Centres have officially implemented the eNaTIS Computerised Learner License Testing (CLLT) system with 8 touch screen tablets per centre. This new testing system allow for faster result processing compared to pen and paper tests.
BOOK YOUR LEARNER’S LICENSE TEST DATE:
To make a booking, visit your nearest Driving Testing Centre with your original Identification Document, two ID size photographs, a booking fee, and proof of residential address. You will need to complete the Application form for learner's licence (form LL1) and complete an eye test at the centre or submit a form from a qualified optometrist. The learner’s license test will be conducted at the Centre at which you make the booking.
PREPARE FOR THE TEST:
Learners are encouraged to study the Learner Driver Manuals available online at https://www.natis.gov.za/index.php/downloads/learner-driver-manual.
Go to “downloads” and then click “Learner Driver Manual”. There are three files to study: Rules of the Road, Road Signs and Motor Vehicle Controls.
Preparation for the learner’s license test must be made using the information found on all three files.

ON THE DAY OF THE TEST:
Learners must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled test time and bring the following:
- Their booking confirmation / receipt of application for the test date.
- Their valid Identification Document.
- Fee for issuing of Learners License after successful completion of the test.
