HOUSING DEMAND DATABASE VERIFICATION PROGRAM

You are hereby invited / requested to check your information on the Langeberg Housing Database

PURPOSE

• To confirm that you still have a housing need.

• To ensure that all information is correct. (See below)

• To update information. (See below)

POTENTIAL APPLICANTS

Anyone who complies with the criteria listed below can participate by visiting the mentioned venue. Only one application per household will be accepted.

TO QUALIFY FOR A HOUSING SUBSIDY, YOU MUST

• Be a South African citizen

• Be 18 years and older

• Be married or habitually cohabit with a long-term partner

• Be single and have financial dependents

• Earn between R0-R3500 gross income per month per household. Person earning more than R 3500 to a maximum of R22 000 per household can register for Finance Linked Subsidies

• Never received a government subsidy for housing before

• Never owned a property

 When you verify or update your information, please bring copies of as much of the following documents as you have in your possession.

1. ID document of applicant and spouse / partner (as well as the ID’s of all your children / financial dependents)

2. Marriage certificate

3. Birth certificates

4. Death certificate

5. Divorce certificate

6. Pay slip / Unemployment Affidavit of applicant and spouse / partner

7. SASSA Letter Confirming that you receive an old age or disability grant

8. Military veterans must indicate that they are veterans to be captured on the system.
