NOTIFICATION OF PROPOSED VINEYARD | DRAFT SCOPING REPORT PUBLIC REVIEW

Dear Interested and Affected Parties,

NOTIFICATION OF SCOPING REPORT AND COMMENT PERIOD:

Notice is hereby given of the intention to submit an application in terms of Section 24D of the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA), No. 107 of 1998, as amended and the EIA Regulations, 2014 (GNR 982), as amended for the proposed cultivation of 30 hectares of vineyard (wine grapes) infrastructure which entails the clearance of virgin land for agricultural purposes. A Water Use Licence will be required as cultivation activities are within close proximity to watercourses. The Draft Scoping Report is available for comment for a period of 30 days.

INTERESTED AND AFFECTED PARTIES (I&APs): are required to register in writing as a stakeholder to be notified of the availability of reports for public viewing and comment.

As a registered I&AP you hereby give Enviromin Projects permission to include your name and contact details in line with the legal requirements of the public participation process, where such process includes submission of all correspondence shared by any I&AP to the competent authority.
