We would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing modifications to the traffic circle in Robertson.
Following a recent notice regarding Temporary Traffic Interruptions for the transport of large wind turbine parts through Robertson and Ashton where temporary route adjustments was identified. Such as the removal and reinstatement of two streetlights in Voortrekker Road and minor changes to the Robertson traffic circle, will be made at the applicant’s cost to accommodate the passage of these exceptionally long vehicles.
The current plan is to have the circle completed by tomorrow afternoon, 12 November 2025, provided all work proceeds as scheduled. The curbs have already been installed, and teams are currently busy with the paving.
Once the paving is completed, all removable warning signs will be installed to ensure the area is safe and fully operational.
