UPDATE: WATER SUPPLY RESTORED TO MONTAGU TODAY, 16 MARCH 2026

Langeberg Municipality informs residents and visitors that the water supply to parts of Montagu is currently interrupted due to the Ashbury Water Pump Station being out of service.

Affected areas: Badshoogte, Montagu Springs and Avalon Springs.

The duration is currently unknown. Our technical team is attending to the problem with urgency. Updates will be shared once the damage has been assessed.

NOTICE UPDATE: ASHBURY PUMP STATION – WATER SUPPLY SERVICE RESTORED

The Municipality wishes to inform residents that the Ashbury pump station is now operational (from 10:30 today, 16 March 2026).

Water supply has been restored to the previously affected areas: Badshoogte, Montagu Springs, and Avalon Springs.
