Notice is hereby given that Langeberg Municipality has, on a Council Meeting on 27 August 2019, adopted Integrated Development Plan (IDP) Process Plan. The IDP Process Plan has been approved in terms of Section 28 of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000.

The IDP Process Plan for Langeberg Municipality will be available for inspection during office hours at the following venues:

In accordance with the approved Process Plan, the municipality plans to embark on a Public Participation Process within all 12 wards of our area. The Langeberg Municipality encourages community participation and invite members of the public and community organisations to attend these sessions.

Notice is hereby given that Langeberg Municipality intends adopting the Draft Air Quality By-law.

Comments must be submitted on or before 27 September 2019.

Applications are invited from deserving applicants to apply for grants in aid in terms of the Municipalities Grant in Aid Policy.

The following categories are eligible for Grants-In-Aid:

a. Solid Waste (Cleansing)

b. Social Development

c. Youth, Sports and Recreation

d. Environment.

The closing date is Friday 27 September 2019
