OFFICE CLOSURE OPERATIONS OVER THE EASTER WEEKEND

On Thursday, 02 April 2026 all municipal cashier desks will close at 12:15 (need to be confirmed) while administration offices, traffic offices and libraries close from 12:45. All municipal facilities will re-open at 07:45 on Tuesday, 07 April 2026.

Payment of accounts
Outside pay-points in all the towns will be open for payments of accounts
·   EFT/online banking – use the municipality’s bank details as provided on your account and reference your municipal account number.
·   Approved third-party payment points if listed on your bill, e.g. EasyPay, Pay@, or supermarkets.
·   Important: Always use your municipal account number as the payment reference to ensure the payment is correctly allocated to your account. 
·   Keep proof of payment for reference if required.

Waste Removal
Refuse collection will continue as per normal on the public holidays with waste facilities open from 08:00-15:00 on Friday, 03 April 2026 and 08:00-16:00 on Monday, 06 April 2026.

Sewage Removal
No sewage removal services will be rendered on Friday, 03 April and Monday, 06 April 2026

Swimming Pool
The municipal swimming pool will be closed on Friday, 03 April 2026 as well as Monday, 06 April 2026.

Informal Trading License Renewals
Bookings should be done before Thursday, 02 April 2026 at 12:00.
