PUBLIC NOTICE: TERMINATION OF TENDER 64/2024

TENDER 64/2024: CONSTRUCTION FOR THE UPGRADING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN ASHTON AND MONTAGU

The contract for Tender 64/2024, awarded to BATSINI (PTY) LTD, has been terminated due to slow progress and failure to take the necessary actions to expedite the work.

This project includes:

1. Barlinka Street in Montagu

2. Aalwyn Street in Ashton

3. Industrial Road in Ashton

4. Curbing in Zolani, Ashton

The tender will be re-advertised to appoint a new contractor to complete this urgent project. At this stage, it is not possible to indicate when the new contractor will be on site. The municipality will communicate further progress once a new appointment has been made.

TENDER 64/2024: KONSTRUKSIE VIR DIE OPGRADERING VAN VERSKEIE PAAIE IN ASHTON EN MONTAGU

Die kontrak vir Tender 64/2024, toegeken aan BATSINI (PTY) LTD, is beëindig weens stadige vordering en weiering om  die nodige stappe te neem om hul werktydskedule aan te pas om die werk te voltooi.

Hierdie projek sluit in:

1. Barlinka Straat in Montagu
2. Aalwyn Straat in Ashton
3. Industriële Pad in Ashton
4. Randsteenwerk in Zolani, Ashton

Die tender sal heradverteer word om 'n nuwe kontrakteur aan te stel om hierdie dringende projek te voltooi. Op hierdie stadium is dit onmoontlik om aan te dui wanneer die nuwe kontrakteur op die terrein sal wees. Die munisipaliteit sal verdere vordering kommunikeer sodra 'n nuwe aanstelling gemaak is.
