TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AT INTERSECTION OF VOORTREKKER & REITZ STREET, ROBERTSON

Please be advised that a sinkhole has formed at the corner of Voortrekker and Reitz Street in Robertson, resulting in a temporary road closure to ensure public safety.

Repair Work Underway:  

Municipal teams are already working on repairing the sinkhole, and proper traffic control measures will be in place as soon as possible to restore safe access.

Traffic Update:  

A one-way traffic system will be implemented in Voortrekker Road to manage flow and minimize disruption.

⚠️ Safety Reminder:  

- Drive with caution near the site 

- Obey all temporary traffic signs and barriers  

- Allow extra travel time and consider alternative routes
