CALL FOR COMMENTS ON DRAFT BUDGET AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP)

Notice is hereby given in terms of sections 22(a) and 129(3) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003), sections 21 and 34(b) of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, (Act 32 of 2000) and Regulation 3(4)b of the Local Government: Municipal Planning and Performance Regulations, 2001 that the following items were tabled to Council on 31 March 2026 and are now open for inspection.

· Draft Municipal Budget

· Budget Related Policies

· Draft Amended Integrated Development Plan (IDP)

· Spatial Development Framework (SDF)

· Draft IDP Related Policies including ICT Policies

Comments on the above documentation must be submitted by 08 May 2026 for the attention of the Municipal Manager, clearly marked: "BUDGET/IDP 2026-2027". Persons who cannot read or write will be assisted by Municipal officials at their nearest municipal office.
