Post 01: Youth Environmental Service Graduate Programme (36 months)

Salary:&Stipend of R200 daily, UIF inclusive

Placement Centres:&Host Employers within Langeberg Local Municipality.

Requirements:&

• Unemployed young South African graduates from 18 - 35 years.
• Matric + 1 year qualification.
• Preference will be given to graduates with environmental management, natural resources management or any other environmental related qualification.
• Qualification from TVET College including trades and occupation will also be considered.
• Young people with disabilities and young women are encouraged to apply.

Duties:

• The aim of the project is to respond to the multiple needs of young people&which enable them to access new opportunities for&employment, income generation, skills development and&personal development while contributing to the reconstruction&of South Africa.
• To participate in youth environmental service programme for the period of 36 months (12 months training and 24 months of community services).
• To conduct community service activities.
• Attend and complete accredited training.
