SMME to submit the following documents, not older than 3 months, at the Bonnievale or Ashton Municipal office before 12:00 on 22 March 2024.

  • CIDB actively registered level 1 or 2 category CE
  • Valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • B-BBEE Certificate of affidavit
  • Letter of good standing (COIDA)
  • Proof of registration on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD)
  • Proof of business addresss like a Municipal bill
  • Company Profile with reference of previous work done

PROPOSED WORK:

  • Drains
  • Prefabricated culverts
  • Patching and repairing edgebreaks
  • Stonepitching/erosion protection
  • Guardrails
  • Fencing
  • Road signs
  • Finishing the road and road reserve
  • Clear and grub/grass cutting

ROAD WORKS:

  • R317 at Rietvallei Wines
  • R317 at Arabella Wines
  • Zandvliet Way (Unipack - Langeberg Foods)
  • R317 Stormsvlei Road (5km past the Rooibrug)
  • R60 to Bonnievale Voortrekker Street (Around the church and school)

Work will commence on 14 March 2024 until November 2024. A stop and go will be in place and will affect traveling times.

Note that feedback will only be given to the companies with the correct documentation.

In terms of the Langeberg Municipality Supply Chain Management Policy, the municipality must have a database of providers of goods and services.

However the Langeberg Municipality is currently using the Central Supplier Database (CSD) for all business with prospective suppliers.

Therefore the Langeberg Municipality cordially invites all prospective suppliers of goods and services to self-register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) website, www.csd.gov.za.

The Langeberg Municipality reserves the right to procure goods and services only from the suppliers registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Existing suppliers and service providers are required to update their details and documentation on the CSD on a regular basis.

Langeberg Municipality circulated the draft SDF for public comment during April - May 2023. Comments received were considered and the amended draft SDF will enter a final 60 day public participation period, until 25 March 2024.
The general public and any interested and affected parties are hereby invited to submit written comments, inputs and/or recommendation on the amended draft SDF.
